Fortune Story

 

This fortune is one of many you could find when you crack open a fortune cookie after your meal at a Chinese restaurant, or just about anywhere that serves fortune cookies. The fortune from this particular cookie is one that stands out to me a lot. I personally believe traveling is a great experience no matter where you or your family ends up going. Traveling is a great experience, even if your hotel reservations go right or wrong when you finally make it to London, Tokyo, Paris, or wherever you are going. From personal experience, I find traveling to be a very eye-opening event; watching and experiencing new things you may have not ever seen before. When I traveled to Tanzania my family and I visited local villages and tribes, tried new foods, and did multiple things we definitely would not have done all the way back in Pittsburgh. Along with the fact that traveling will help open your mind into a greater perspective, traveling allows you to experience all of these new things and allows you to develop a further understanding of the world around you.
