Women in Sports Production

On June 26, 2018 Point Park University summer journalism camp went to the Washington Wild Things stadium.   Sadie Rylander gave us all an tour of the press box and she explained to us what it’s like to be a sports producer.  She does things like graphic design and video production.
“I like doing what I do now, which is working for the Washington Wild Things.” said Rylander.
The next day, Professor Paige Beal came to our workshop and she explained how she become interested in Arts, Entertainment and Sports Management?
Professor Beal said, “I tried out for an radio station and had to learn all the different types of music and sports.”
Professor Beal loved to learn new things and that’s when she decided to go Arts, Entertainment and Sports Management.
She said,”I always loved learning and didn’t know what to do with it.” She gave awesome advice for students who are looking to go and get this degree ;“Don’t wait, when you can do it now! Tell them that you have initiative.”
